Spring is Spring-ing
Happy Spring!
As we prepare for the end of the season, our Breaking class will be showing off their skills in-class with a student VS student battle on May 5th! We will have a traditional 3 judge panel and each student will get a minimum of 2 rounds each to dance. There will be two divisions with 4 competitors each. Parents and friends are invited to come into class after our warm up that day to see them throw down!
This year’s Spring Showcase will be held in-studio on May 30th. We will be doing two shows that day, one at 2:30 and one at 6:00. 2 opportunities to perform! A perfect chance to invite family and friends to enjoy Showcase! Any other important details will be e-mailed out/added here as we get closer to May.
There will be a dress rehearsal Friday, May 29th starting at 5:30 pm. Dancers arrive at 5:00 for Finale rehearsal. Creative Movement and Youth Tumbling arrive at 5:45 for a Show Run-Through to begin at 6:00.
Each showcase fee comes with 2 tickets. Additional tickets will be available for sale for $5 starting May 1st.
IF YOU HAVE NOT PAID YOUR SHOWCASE AND COSTUME FEE, PLEASE DO SO ASAP! STUDENTS CANNOT TAKE THEIR COSTUMES HOME UNLESS PAID IN FULL!
If you need assistance in paying for your costumes, please let us know. Please be sure to clearly identify your payments if not done through our website so they may be applied to your account correctly.
As we are in the home stretch in preparing for Showcase, please have consistent attendance to help ensure the success of your performance and your class’s. We want ya’ll to rock the stage confidently and have the most fun while doing so!
Showcase day will be long. Please bring something to keep you busy while you wait. If needed you may bring some clean, dry snacks. Please, only water to drink around the costumes.
With showcase upon us, that means summer is just around the corner. We will be taking our usual break off from classes and starting up our 6-week summer session on July 7th. Full schedule coming soon. Groove and Leaps and Turns will continue all summer on Wednesdays. Leaps and Turns 6:00-6:45 and Grooves 6:45-7:30 with Open Session 7:30-10:00.
