Winter is go!
We hope everyone is weathering this winter all right! Be sure to check the BandApp if there is inclement weather to know if classes are cancelled. Just because Flint Schools are closed in the morning, does not necessarily mean that we will be closed in the afternoon/evening.
All classes are working towards the Spring Showcase performance! Consistent attendance is not only vital to the success of the class’s performance, but also to the improvement and advancement of each student. Contact your instructor if you are going to be late or absent. Do not attend or do not send your child to class if they have a fever or have had one in the past 24 hours. If you/your kid feels good enough to come to class with a bit of a sickness, we kindly ask that you wear a mask to stop the spread of colds and flu.
You have received your Showcase Fee in this month’s tuition bill. You will be receiving a Costume Fee with your April tuition bill.
Valentine’s Day Spirit Week is February 10-12!
- Tuesday the 10th, Dress up Like a Valentine! Do you love Pink and Red? Go all out! Do you love giving out Bluey or Transformers Valentine’s? Dress like it! Do you love those super weird Victorian Era Valentine’s? You know what to do.
- Wednesday the 11th: Wear Your Heart on Your Sleeve! One heart on your outfit? Cool! 287 hearts? Cool!
- Thursday the 12th: Famous Couple Day! Dress up like someone from a famous couple real or fake; Romeo and Juliet, Arnold and Helga, JLo and Ben Affleck.

We are still accepting students into some of our classes. Get a friend, neighbor, grandma sign up and grow our FLI-City Family! Make sure to have them tell us who sent them our way, so you may receive proper credit of a 20% Discount on your next tuition bill.
Reminder that tuition is due the first class of each month. A $10 late fee will be added to your invoice if your tuition payment is late and you haven’t made arrangements with us. Please communicate!
Additionally, make sure e-mails from FLI-City are not going to your spam folder, this has been a recurring issue. Communication helps all of us!
Please be sure to arrive prepared and on-time for class. Long hair on everybody must be secured off the face and neck (bangs are ok). Please wear the appropriate footwear for the style of dance you are participating in. If you are going to be late, please let us know by texting your instructor or messaging the studio via Band App, Facebook Messenger, or Instagram DM.
